RECOVERY FROM ALCOHOLISM STORY OF ZVIADI

Hello, my name is Zviadi. I am 39 years old. Four years ago I have been alcoholic. Since I came to Teen Challenge, I am free from alcohol addiction. Four years ago my life was broken, I had lost my family. After I went through program Teen Challeng, I restored my family and today I feel myself good. Today I am happy!

PHILOSOPHY FOR REHABILITATION –
Addiction destroys a person physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually.  For rehabilitation to be permanent it must produce positive changes in all these areas.  These changes are not rapid but gradual and progressive, as students learn by training and experience to solve life’s problems positively and without drugs.

Teen Challenge currently offers a 12 month, 24 hour staffed residential drug-free therapeutic community for men wanting to overcome tobacco, alcohol, drug and gambling addictions. We care for their social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs through personal and group studies (working on character qualities), personal counselling, English language courses, living skills program, computer training, vocational training, sport and recreation activities.
